WOMEN’S CLUB

WOMEN’S CLUB

Starting a women’s club might not save the world — but we could try.

I’m starting a club — a women’s club.

Not because I hate men. But because I trust women.
(There’s a difference.)

The rules of the club are simple:

  1. We don’t talk shit about women.

  2. We’re working to better the world.

That’s it. No dues. No complicated charters. No bylaws. Some days, we might meet for a drink. Other days, a watercolor or yoga class. It’s casual. It’s kind. It’s grassroots.

This isn’t an official club — it’s a mom looking around her community and realizing we’ve got to turn off Netflix and start having real conversations. ASAP.

If you voted red, you might assume this is a liberal club. But it isn’t. I want you there, too. I hope you’ll come, mingle, make friends, and advocate for whatever women’s right is on the chopping block that week.

Because let’s be honest: the world feels ugly right now.

Every day feels a little more like fascism knocking on the door. And as a woman with three kids, that’s terrifying.

So I want to gather with women who think like me. And women who don’t. I want to vent. And laugh. (If I even remember how.) Maybe even have a cocktail.

And after we’ve done that, I want to spend a few minutes talking about the hard stuff:

1. Who should we email?
2. What action steps can we take this month?
3. How can we get creative?

And who knows... maybe, just maybe, if enough of us build clubs and start connecting, we can build something bigger.

Like an email list.
A movement.
Real, unexpected change.

Because I believe good always wins.
And I refuse to sit quietly and just hope that happens.
